Giving Back by Recycling

Proud Mom moment and Mrs Georgia Elemental moment!  Together, my family has collected over 25 pairs of tennis shoes to be recycled through the amazing folks at Got Sneakers? !

It's so important that we teach our next generation the vital habits of reducing, reusing, and recycling. Our actions today shape their world tomorrow, and instilling these values ensures a healthier planet for everyone. Every small effort makes a huge impact!

Over the last few months, I have been collecting used tennis shoes to send to Got Sneakers? for Recycling. Not only does this keep them out of the landfill, but it also gives back to our environment by reusing what would usually be looked at as trash and instead looked at as potential for some many new things!

One thing I love about being Mrs Georgia Elemental, is that giving back to our environment is not only expected, but celebrated. Being an "Eco Mom" has always been my mission, but to find a pageant system that also celebrates this was hitting the jackpot for my family and me!

As Mrs Georgia Elemental, I want my children and the kids I coach to know and understand ways that we can give back to our environment.
